New Member – RamAir Training Services - Wednesday, January 29th, 2014

Ram Naidoo, the Managing Director of RamAir Training Services, briefed the EAMTC, “We are a UK based aviation maintenance training organisation specialising in all aspects of EASA Part 66 training. We also offer consultancy work to organisations that are keen to develop their own EASA Part 147 training centres.”

Ram started his career as a UK BCAR Radio/Radar/X Electrical/Multi X avionics licensed engineer in the early seventies. He spent thirty years in aircraft maintenance engineering in various posts before moving into EASA Part 66 and Part 147 training in 2002.

As well his experience as an EASA Category C certifying engineer and as engineering manager for a large EASA Part 145 maintenance organisation, Ram has experience as Part 147 Training Manager, Auditor, Quality Manager and Accountable Manager.

As well as being a member of the EAMTC, Ram is also a member of the Royal Aeronautical Society.

QCM’s latest amendments to their consolidated documents - Monday, January 20th, 2014

QCM has advised the EAMTC as follows:-

We would like to inform everyone that we have incorporated the latest amendments to the Acceptable Means of Compliance & Guidance Material (AMC & GM) to the Commission Regulation (EU) No 2042/2003 into our consolidated version of Part-M.

QCM consolidated version Part-M Rev. 10, 19 January 2014:

This Revision 10 of the QCM consolidated version of Part-M became necessary to incorporate the latest changes to the Acceptable Means of Compliance & Guidance Material (AMC & GM) to Part-M published with ED Decision 2013/034/R of 19 December 2013.

Based near Toulouse, France, the company is engaged in providing innovative services related to training and skills assessment to various industries.

Interactive Training Solutions (ITS) offer:

  • Consultancy services in the areas of multimedia for technical training and distance learning
  • Development of B2B training Community portals
  • Simulations

Development Project Manager, Marc Gianola told the EAMTC, “One of ITS’ main areas of activity is Aerospace Training Solutions (ATS).

Over the last decades our team members have gained solid experience and a high level of technical expertise in the fields of multimedia training development and training management.

This experience has been gained by our staff in airlines and with the subcontracted production of training materials for Air Forces or aircraft and engine manufacturers.

Many of our staff have been involved in the EAMTC and EAMTC working groups in the past.

Our training portal, dedicated to aeronautical training, will be launched in 2014. This will provide services to students, instructors as well as organizations such as training centres, MRO , airlines, manufacturers etc”.

SJI select MINT TMS - Monday, January 6th, 2014

MINT Software Systems strengthens its international market position by signing a service agreement with SuperJet International

MINT Software Systems have announced their agreement with SuperJet International, joint venture between Alenia Aermacchi and Sukhoi Holding responsible for the Sukhoi Superjet 100 sales, as well as worldwide after-sales support and training.

This agreement,effective as of October 1st 2013, concerns the acquisition of the training management software MINT TMS™ that SuperJet International will use for pilot, cabin crew and mechanics training at its training facilities located in Italy and Russia.

The agreement covers the acquisition of the license for the MINT Training Management solution MINT TMS™ including modules for training and compliance management, training scheduling and MS-Outlook synchronization.

“We are very proud to win SuperJet International as our newest customer. With SuperJet we are adding another major Company to our customer base . This demonstrates, that our efforts in research and development to provide the best possible solution for training and curriculum management to the highly demanding aviation industry are paying off”, declares Jörg Latteier, Managing Director of MINT Software Systems.
