Management change at Condor - Monday, January 26th, 2015
Condor has announced that Michael Toparkus has now taken over the position of Head of Production. His replacement as Manager Standards and Training for Condor has been taken by Rudolf Wagenknecht (pictured here).
Rudolf has been employed in civil aviation since 1985. Prior to this new appointment Rudoplf was the Deputy Production Manager at Condor Technik.
Aviation Competence Centre Open Day – 28th February - Friday, January 23rd, 2015
The Aviation Competence Centre will hold its “Open Day” between 1000 h and 1600 h on Saturday 28th February 2015.
Maarten Deklerk, the Accountable Manager said, “We love to show people around our facilities and our Open Day is another great opportunity for us to do so. It lets everyone see what it is like in an aviation training centre, the skills involved in our industry and to discuss the opportunities for them to be part of the great world of aviation. JETBLUE AIRWAYS GOES LIVE WITH MINT TMS - Thursday, January 22nd, 2015
Kiel, 22 January 2015 – MINT Software Systems announces the “Go-live” of its customer JetBlue Airways with their Training Management System MINT TMS.
On January 1 st , 2015, JetBlue Airways has activated its new training management system MINT TMS and is using it now live as production environment for pilot training management. The “go-live” of MINT TMS, delivered by MINT Software Systems in Germany, was announced by JetBlue after a very compact implementation time of just over 6 months.
“Originally the go-live of the pilot training management part of our new system was planned for the end of first quarter 2015. Due to the readiness and quality of MINT TMS we were able to cut the implementation phase significantly and are now already working with the MINT System at the whole pilot training operations of JetBlue University”, says Christian Popp, Manager Flight Training Services at JetBlue Airways.
“JetBlue were getting started much faster than they were actually imagining”, says Christian Hollmann, VP and Head of Development at MINT Software Systems. “This has been possible thanks to the very good cooperation and communication between all departments involved at JetBlue and MINT. The implementation went very smooth and to the greatest satisfaction of our customer and of course we are very happy about that”, he adds.

Aviator adds Sukhoi Superjet 100 to EASA approval - Friday, January 16th, 2015
Moscow based “Aviator” has announced it has received an extension to its EASA Part-147 approval for the Sukhoi Superjet 100 aircraft (RRJ-95).
Vladislav Berlev, Aviator’s Director said, “We’re very pleased to have the Sukhoi Superjet 100 on our EASA approval. This will enable us to serve our customer’s needs. As well as the extension to our approval, we are also pleased to advise of our development and implementation of a pilot SMS project at a technical training organization. Again, this will really help our customers.”
