SR Technics courses at their new Abu Dhabi facility - Wednesday, January 27th, 2016
SR Technics’ has opened their new facility in Abu Dhabi alongside the Abu Dhabi International Airport. Whilst all training areas are occupied SR Technics advises of places available on the following courses: –
- A330 Trent B1/B2 Theory & Practical (location Dubai) dates 3rd April to 31st March 2016
- GCAA Module 10 (location Abu Dhabi) dates 7-11th February
SR Technics – places available – A330 (GE CF6) from A320 (CFM56 or V2500) Cat. B1/B2 differences course - Tuesday, January 26th, 2016
SR Technics advise that there are “sit-in” places available on the following differences course:
A330 (GE CF6) from A320 (CFM56 or V2500) Cat. B1/B2
- Theory course – from 1st until 26th February in Belgrade, Serbia
- Practical course – from 29th March until 6th April 2016 in Zurich, Switzerland.

LTT – changes in Sales & Key Account Division & at LTT Philippines - Tuesday, January 26th, 2016
Lufthansa Technical Training Philippines.
Mr. Harald Schween is the new Head of Sales & Key Account Management since January 1, 2016. Mr. Mark Han took over operations as Head of Sales Asia at the same time. Moreover, Mr. Florante Pena took over responsibility as General Manager for Lufthansa Technical Training Philippines on a transitional basis on December 1, 2015. Additional information in this regard can be found in their Newsletter_ “New on board”.

AFI KLM E&M A32Z (CFM56) B1/B2 Course – Part 147 Approved - Monday, January 18th, 2016
Air France is pleased to advise of the following Airbus A32Z (CFM56) B1/B2 course under Part 147 approval from February 2016.
- *Theoretical Part A32Z T1/T2 (CFM56), from Feb 15th to March 22nd incl.
Duration: 27 days
- *Practical Part A32Z T1/T2 (CFM56), from March 23rd to April 6th incl.
Duration: 10 days
This course will be delivered in English, in Paris – Roissy CDG.
Please note that the available seats are likely to be filled up in a short time and AFI KLM E&M recommends that you advise them as quickly as possible of how many of your staff members you would like to have enrolled.

Air France is pleased to advise of the following courses from February 2016.: –
- Boeing 787-8/-9 (GE GEnx) (RR RB 211 Trent 1000) B1/ B2 Theoretical course
The course will take place in Paris- Roissy Charles-de-Gaulle and has been scheduled as follows:
- Boeing 787-8/-9 (GE GEnx) B1/B2, from Feb 1st to Mar 9th, 2016 incl.(28 days).
- Boeing 787-8/-9 (GE GEnx) to (RR RB 211Trent 1000) B1/B2, from Mar 10th to Mar 15th, 2016 incl. (4 days).
This Part 147 Type Course covers only the theoretical elements.
The Practical Part (+/- 10 days) is to be scheduled in the 1st semester of 2016. The course location is to be determined.

EASA changes to Advisory Bodies - Friday, January 15th, 2016
Three EASA Management Board (MB) decisions on the Rule-Making procedure and the Advisory Bodies were adopted at the MB meeting of 13th-14th December. As a result, the EASA Advisory Board and the Safety Standards Consultative Committee will be merged.
