On 14-15 October, AFI KLM E&M welcomes the European Aviation Maintenance Training Committee (EAMTC) for its 61st meeting on training. Régis Lamberthod, Head of Training Development and Marketing at Air France Industries, has the details.

Alongside other companies and MRO market players, AFI KLM E&M was a founder-member of the EAMTC back in 1984. The aim of this trade body was to share experience as a means of improving aircraft maintenance training beyond national borders.

Trainers to convene in Paris
On 14-15 October, AFI KLM E&M will be playing host to a total of 130 guests. As Régis Lamberthod says: “All the aircraft maintenance training departments of the leading European groups will be represented,.”
The first day’s proceedings will kick off with a keynote speech by Mladen Hanzevacki, EASA’s  Continuing Airworthiness Rulemaking Officer. This will be followed by a Q&A session, discussions and round tables among the attendees. “During the 2-day meeting, our network of professionals will be able to work towards a common approach, work together on training programs, and share each other’s knowledge and resources. More importantly, they will be able to plan for tomorrow’s needs in terms of skills and aids to be developed.”

A winning approach for clients
Régis Lamberthod adds: “Events like the EAMTC meeting involve a vast amount of shared preparation work enabling us to offer our client companies the best training as much in line as possible with the latest compliance and safety guarantees.” This chimes perfectly with the AFI KLM E&M training offer, which supports its clients from A to Z on all possible scopes. That may entail a one-day course in Paris or Amsterdam, or directly on the client’s premises, but everything is up for discussion, with multiple approaches, all characterized by AFI KLM E&M’s trademark Adaptiveness©.
