AM&TS expands EASA Part 147 Certification and takes over Fokker Type Training
As of last month, the Aircraft Maintenance & Training School (AM&TS) in Hoogerheide, The Netherlands, has expanded its EASA Part-147 approval certificate. As well as the previously held approval for Basic Training, AM&TS now has approval for Type Training.
By obtaining this certification AM&TS reinforces its relationship with the Aviation industry.
Engaging with the industry on matters such as the required competencies and skill levels for their Aviation Maintenance staff, the AM&TS is able to find the perfect match between its training programmes and the labour market needs.
Fokker Type Training
The new approval is valid for Type Training B1 and B2 for the types F27, F50/60 and F70/100. AM&TS is now able to supply aircraft operators and MROs, worldwide, with trained staff for the entire Fokker fleet.
Obtaining a Type rating is the next step in the career of an Aircraft maintenance mechanic who holds a Basic license.
“Fokker Services is pleased to see AM&TS take over responsibility for the type training for all Fokker aircraft models. This professional training organization, as a FLYFokker partner, will ensure Fokker operators continued high quality access to these training courses which underpins Fokker Services continued commitment to support Fokker operators” says Mr. Peter Somers, President Fokker Services B.V.
