AvioTrace Swiss announce the first “paperless” aircraft maintenance license technical training programme

AvioTrace Swiss announces that the first AML “paperless” technical training programme is proceeding with great success. The first complete “paperless” basic training course, started on September 26th, is showing that the use of advanced systems based on tablets and PCs has a strong positive impact on the trainees learning process. All students received an iPad at the beginning of the course with all required manuals in multimedia format and access to AvioTrace Swiss’ web learning systems. The introduction of advanced solutions for training allows the use of traditional manuals integrated with videos, multimedia animations, audio files and all documents that are useful during theoretical and practical training. In addition the material is automatically updated “on line” and tailored on each individual student’s profile and needs.

Moreover, students that decide to prepare for the examinations with self-instruction programmes have the opportunity to use AvioTrace Swiss’ training manuals and multimedia contents on their own laptop with no time restraints. All the contents are available by simply clicking on a link and using the dedicated “Virtual Classroom” learning applications. With these solutions the training path can always be customized following the needs of the student and progress can be followed and supported by the instructor or the tutor. All solutions can also the blended to provide the most suitable training path according to the trainee’s requirements.
