EAMTC welcomes new member – Embraer
Based in Sao Jose dos Campos, Brazil, Embraer was founded in 1969 as a government initiative. It was privatised on 7th December, 1994.
Embraer has become one of the largest aircraft manufacturers in the world by focusing on specific market segments with high growth potential in commercial, defence and executive aviation.
Embraer was Brazil’s largest exporter from 1999 to 2001 and the second largest in 2002, 2003 and 2004. It currently employs more than 16,853 people (excluding employees of its subsidiaries).
Embraer and its partners offer a comprehensive package of technical training courses to all operators.
Training aids used in the academic phase include several different training aids (such as CBT) which support the instructor-led presentations delivered by highly qualified and experienced instructors.
The practical phase involves training in cockpit trainers, on a wide range of parts and pieces of equipment, factory field trips and live aircraft maintenance practices.
The EASA Part 147 MTO Training Manager, Marco Rangel says, “We are looking forward to working with the EAMTC.”
