SSCC Update

The EAMTC’s SSCC member advises of the following summary of information given to the industry during the last SSCC Sub Committee meeting on 30th November 2011.

1 – AMC material for the consolidated Part-66/147 will be published at the end of January 2012. This will include TNA

2 – Opinion on OSD (Part-21, Task 21.039) will be published end of this year. (2011)

3 – New appendix I to AMC Part-66 A/C type list will be published at the end of this year (and will be superseded on 1st August 2012 – introducing the new aircraft grouping)

4 – Decision on RMT 145.022 (Control of contracted maintenance personnel [prg. 145.A30] ) at the end of this year

5 – RMT MDM.082 to start early 2012

6 – RMT 0442 “Lack of TRT for legacy aircraft” is still on the agenda but there was a request to move it to the RMP
