Superjet International obtains EASA Part 147 Certificate extension for type RRJ95 (SSJ100)
SuperJet International has successfully concluded and obtained an extension to its Part 147 Maintenance Training and Examination Organisation Approval Certificate, (IT. 147.0010) from ENAC, the Italian Civil Aviation Authority. The approval includes RRJ95 (SSJ100) type training courses.
This extension to their Certification allows SuperJet International, as an approved Maintenance Training Organisation, to provide the SSJ100 maintenance technicians with training courses in accordance with the EASA Part 147 regulations, to conduct examinations and to issue the related Certificates of Recognition.
The Certificate represents an additional entry card for worldwide SJI Customers. Theoretical and practical Type Training courses for maintenance technicians will be provided worldwide according to international standards. Starting from February 2013 Interjet technicians will attend EASA approved type training courses at Interjet’s facility in Toluca, Mexico.
The first maintenance type training course on the SSJ100 started in February 2011 at the Aeroflot Training Center at Sheremetjevo airport under the Russian regulations. The training activity for Armavia’s techinicians was completely conducted at Armavia’s Maintenance station in Yerevan, Armenia.
To date (June 30, 2012) 312 mechanics have been trained, including SJI trained maintenance technicians who will be in charge of the completion and interior installation on the SSJ100 aircraft for Interjet, SJI’s first western customer.
This year SJI expects to train approximately 350 mechanics for the different skills required for the release of new aircraft into service. This will comprise B1 course for mechanics and B2 courses for avionics including staff of PT Sky Aviation and Laos Central.
